This is benefiting the Christ Church food bank and we will be collecting non perishable food items at the door.
I have been receiving many calls regarding availability of tickets to the Dr Lori Show this Friday (May 17). There will be plenty of tickets at the door, so bring yourself and many friends for a fun evening.

Beacon Falls Historical Society to Host Dr. Lori from Discovery’s Auction Kings at Fundraiser Event.
The Beacon Falls Historical Society will be presenting “Dr. Lori’s Antique Appraisal Comedy Show” in the Woodland Regional High School Auditorium on Friday on May 17, 2013 at 7:00PM. Bring your antiques for appraisal! The show will benefit the Historical Societies scholarship, future museum space, and other educational programs.
Dr. Lori stars as the antiques appraiser on the Discovery channel’s hit reality TV show Auction Kings. She has been featured on NBC’s The Tonight Show and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart for her comedic and no holds barred approach. Guests may bring an antique to be appraised as part of her wildly funny, one-of-a-kind, entertaining event. Dr. Lori never knows what kind of old stuff her audiences will bring her next and she leaves them howling for more. Every show is different and totally unscripted. Dr. Lori shares insider information about antiques at http://www.DrLoriV.com and to 9.5 million readers through her internationally syndicated column featured in 406 newspapers worldwide and on her blog for Lifetime Television. Dr. Lori resides in Bucks County, PA.
Advance Tickets will be available on May 4th at their booth at the Beacon Falls Lions Club’s 15th Annual Duck Race & Riverfest, at the door the evening of the show, or by calling Mike Krenesky at 203-558-8565. Admittance to the show is $20.00. The Society recommends early arrival and the doors will open at 6:15PM. In addition and as an interactive part of the show, Dr. Lori will be appraising items brought to the show so bring your antiques for appraisal. Cost for the appraisal is $25.00 and will be paid for at the door the night of the show.
Looking forward to the Haunted Hayride at Matthies Park, Beacon Falls on Oct 27 (6pm – 9pm) and Oct 28th (6pm – 8:30pm ). There is a costume contest for ages 7 & Under, and 8-11 at 5:30pm on the 27th to kick off the hayride.
