Karly Laliberte, a fourth grader at Community Elementary School, ran a lemonade stand May 21 at the Prospect Town Hall to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Karly sold lemonade in honor of her grandmother, Nancy Mulcahey, who died of cancer in 2004. ‘I just wanted to help with raising money,’ Karly said about running the stand. This year marked the second year Karly’s Lemonade Stand was open. She has raised a total of $3,023 over the past two years. The Laliberte family thanked the town and Mayor Bob Chatfield for allowing them to use the Town Hall parking lot.
